General principle of transmission
The transfer of personal data that are being processed or are to be processed after the transfer to a third country or an international organization shall take place only if, subject to the other provisions of this Regulation, the controller and processor comply with the conditions set forth in this Chapter, including the conditions for onward transfer of data from a third country or by an international organization to another third country or another international organization. All provisions of this Chapter shall be applied with a view to ensuring that the degree of protection of natural persons guaranteed by this Regulation is not compromised.
