Participation of the police in control
1. The President of the Office or the inspector may request the assistance of the locally competent police chief if necessary for the performance of inspection activities.
2. The police shall provide assistance in the performance of inspection activities, upon receipt of a written request at least 7 days before the date of such activities.
3. In urgent cases, in particular, when the inspector hits resistance that prevents or impedes the performance of inspection activities, assistance shall also be provided at the oral request of the President of the Office or the inspector, upon presentation of the named authorization to carry out the inspection and the official ID card of the inspector.
4. In the case referred to in paragraph 3, the President of the Office shall transmit an acknowledgment of the summons in writing, no later than the following date
3 days after the completion of inspection activities.
5. Providing assistance to the police in the performance of inspection activities consists of providing the inspector with personal safety and access to the inspection site and order at the site.
6. The police, providing assistance to the inspector in the performance of inspection activities, shall also ensure the safety of other persons participating in the performance of inspection activities, taking into account, in particular, respect for the dignity of persons participating in the inspection.
7. Costs incurred by the Police for assistance in carrying out control activities shall be billed at a flat rate of 1.5% of the average monthly salary in the enterprise sector without payments of profit rewards for the previous year, announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office on the basis of Article 60(5) of the Act of July 15, 2011 on the professions of nurse and midwife (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 123, as amended).
