Article 166 PDPA
GIODO as President of the Office
1. As of the entry into force of this Law, the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection becomes the President of the Office.
2. A person who has been appointed to the position of Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, pursuant to the law repealed in Article 175, shall remain in office until the expiration of the term for which he was appointed.
3. The Deputy Inspector General for Personal Data Protection appointed prior to the date of entry into force of this Law shall become, as of the date of entry into force of this Law, the Deputy President of the Office referred to in Article 36 (1).
