Transformation of the Office of GIODO into the Office for the Protection of Personal Data

1. As of the effective date of this Law, the Office of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection shall become an Office.

2. As of the date of entry into force of this Act, employees working in the Office of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection shall become employees of the Office. The provision of Article 231 of the Act of June 26, 1974. - Labor Code (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 917 and 1000) shall apply accordingly.
