"16 The Commission may transfer to the supervisory authority of a third country information concerning an individual case conducted by the Commission, if the conditions referred to in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the EU L 119 of 04.05.2016, p. 1) are met, in the case of personal data, and if the transfer is necessary for the performance of the tasks specified by the Law. In such a case, the Commission may consent to further transfer of this information to the supervisory authority of another third country.".
