Does an employer have grounds to evaluate an employee's work on the basis of CCTV recordings?
ANSWER
CCTV should be used for the purposes for which it was introduced. Evaluating an employee's work does not fall within the purposes specified in the Labour Code. It is worth noting, however, that a certain aspect of work control may arise within production control, understood as monitoring the process of creating a specific product, output, etc. (if visual monitoring was introduced for that purpose).
