The Promise

1. Before assuming his duties, the President of the Office shall take the following oath before the Parliament of the Republic of Poland: "Accepting the position of President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, I solemnly swear to remain faithful to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, to uphold the right to the protection of personal data, and to perform the duties entrusted to me conscientiously and impartially.".

2. The oath may be taken with the addition of the words "So help me God."
