What contact details of joint controllers should be included in the record of processing activities?

ANSWER

Contact details of joint controllers should be understood as providing their name and surname or name, as well as address details together with a telephone number or email address. The record of processing activities is as a rule an internal document that the controller does not disclose to data subjects. However, in the event of an inspection by the supervisory authority it must be made available to the persons conducting the inspection. For its own purposes, the data controller could therefore enter contact details, e.g. only a telephone number or email address, but in the event of an inspection this may prove insufficient. It is therefore recommended to indicate at least the name, registered office address, telephone number and email address. The record should list all joint controllers, since the content of the provision in question indicates the need to list "all joint controllers".
