Is it possible to hide personal data contained in the history of entries in the CEIDG?
ANSWER
The issue of entries in the Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG) is governed by the Act of 6 March 2018 on the Central Registration and Information on Business and the Information Point for Entrepreneurs.
Article 43(1) of the Act specifies which data is made available through the CEIDG and which data is not. In addition, Article 45(1) of the Act provides that the data and information disclosed in the CEIDG are public. Article 49 of the Act further states that data collected in the CEIDG may not be deleted unless separate legal provisions provide otherwise.
In my opinion, it is therefore not possible to remove your residential address from the history of your CEIDG entry if that address constituted the place where your business activity was carried out for a certain period of time.
