FORMAL REPORTS When personal data are collected, the data controller is required to inform the person to whom they relate of their identity and contact details, and of the data controller's contact details (if identified). He should also provide information about the purposes and interests of the data controller and whether the data will be processed lawfully or not (if the person to whom the data controller relates is the person to whom the data is collected), and of any other person to whom the data controller is obliged to provide information, in addition to the data controller's personal data.
