Remuneration for participation in the Council's work

1. A member of the Council is entitled to remuneration for participation in the work of the Council. The amount of remuneration depends on the scope of duties related to the function performed in the Council and the number of meetings attended.
2. The remuneration of a member of the Council for participation in one meeting shall be at least 5% of the average remuneration in the national economy in the calendar year preceding the year of the Council's appointment, as announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office pursuant to Article 20 item 1 letter a of the Act of December 17, 1998 on pensions from the Social Insurance Fund, and may not exceed 25% of that remuneration.
3. The Council of Ministers shall determine, by regulation, the amount of remuneration of a member of the Council for participation in a meeting and the number of meetings of the Council during a calendar year, taking into account the scope of duties related to the function performed in the Council and the proper implementation of the Council's tasks.
4. Members of the Council having a place of residence in a locality other than the seat of the Office are entitled to per diems and reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses under the conditions specified in the implementing regulations issued on the basis of Article 775 § 2 of the Act of June 26, 1974. - Labor Code (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 917 and 1000).
