Article 84 GDPR
Penalties
1. Member States shall adopt provisions laying down other penalties for infringements of this Regulation, in particular for infringements not subject to administrative fines under Article 83, and shall take all necessary measures to ensure their enforcement. Such penalties must be effective, proportionate, and dissuasive.
2. By May 25, 2018, each Member State shall notify the Commission of its regulations adopted pursuant to paragraph 1, and immediately thereafter of any subsequent amendment thereto.
