How much do RODO services cost for the sports and tourism sector?
The cost depends on the type of activity and the scale of data processing. We offer packages tailored to event organisers, travel agencies, recreational facilities and sports clubs. We prepare individual quotations.
What RODO problems most commonly occur in this sector?
The most common issues are a lack of appropriate consents for processing personal data and images, disorganised participant lists and a lack of documentation in dealings with external companies (e.g. carriers, instructors). There is also sometimes a lack of procedures for emergency situations – e.g. loss of documents or medical incidents.
Do I need consent to publish photos from sporting events and trips?
Yes – publishing an image is processing personal data that requires specific consent. We help create simple and secure consent forms – including for minors.
Which data are most sensitive in sport and tourism?
These are participant data (including children), health information, passport, contact and location data, as well as data collected via registration forms and online payment systems. There is also a high risk regarding data entrusted to external service providers.
Does RODO also apply to data collected on paper lists – e.g. when signing up for competitions or camps?
Yes – regardless of the form of data collection (paper, Excel, online form), they must be secured and processed in accordance with the regulations. We will ensure compliance also for offline activities.
Will the implementation of RODO limit our organisational freedom?
